Fund: Signal Lake Venture Fund

Posted by unknown on 2011-04-04

PUBLIC:

Coredge Networks, Inc is NOT active. It was owned and operated by SLVF.
There are no employees here since 2008. All were let go, without their PTO and Pay checks.
Business week has a name change story on them. So, they might have surfaced as another company???

Here is an interesting test for you:

See their site of Portfolio Companies and see how many companies are managed by them. (Tip look at the profiles they are directors)
Now go to Delaware Secretary of State and see how many of these are Void!

A new way of doing business: Incorporate a Company in Delaware once and do not pay franchise taxes but you get to say you fund many companies for ever!

PUBLIC:

We are working with Bart who went to MIT and understands the reality of running a tech business and addressing the real market. They also appreciate the value of the team which is grossly underrated by others.

It takes a long time but we are negotiating term sheet. We've agreed on many essential points like board composition and are close on valuation. The idea is how to make the company worth more long term for the ROI at exit.
