Pretty Narrow View of "Technology" for a "Technology Fund"

Fund: London Technology Fund (LTF)

Posted by Anonymous on 2010-10-20

PUBLIC:

In fact, the guys I met there seemed specifically to equate "technology" with "software".

All the same, they said the fund would be happy to come in second on my (non-software, non-social-media) proposal if I could find a VC fund to come in first, presumably because they didn't have the due diligence expertise themselves, bless.

Rowland Savage

Fund: London Technology Fund (LTF)

Posted by Anonymous on 2009-12-28

PUBLIC:

Rowland Savage looks and sounds like a fresh baked MBA. He appears to be more "talk" than "do" to me. He arrived at the pre-arranged meeting without knowing much about why he was there!

The lack of "do" may also be due in part to the firm. As Newtype mentioned previously, "send in the clowns" should be their tagline. What they say on their Web site could at best be marketing speak, but complete nonsense otherwise.
