Lightbank's website looks promising but based on my experience which may have been personal to the partner, this was a waste of time and borderline insulting. I don't mind rejection for good reasons. It often is helpful. But why make a meeting if there is no interest in the first place?

We spoke to LightBank a few weeks ago and I had a very straightforward and enjoyable experience meeting them. The original meeting was meant to be a quick 30 minute intro, but turned into nearly an hour and a half meeting with 3 of their people. All were very engaged and very enthusiastic to meet with us.

We were introduced to them, so I'm not sure how much their level of engagement would have changed had we gone the cold-call route.

Either way, LightBank is definitely a group that shines above many others I've met in the past year.
