Our company pitched H.I.G. Capital on an investment opportunity in the digital media space. They were very responsive and upfront in their interest and likely funding approach. H.I.G. Capital likes to use significant leverage in their private equity deals (75% debt / 25% cash) so if your firm needs its free-cash for growth H.I.G. will not be the right fit.
