I Like Joyce Chung

I find Joyce's approach to entrepreneurs to be quite helpful and now that they are ready to start investing again, she would be the person I made sure to get to know. She is down to Earth and very practical - and better yet - very respectful of the entrepreneurs I have seen her work with.

We didn't pitch them so I can't speak to that experience. However, Guy was an advisor to us and stepped up whenever we needed him to. You won't get better advice when it comes to the fundamentals of what makes a great startup.

I have not pitched Bill, but have arranged for and observed Bill on several pitch panel events with other entrepreneurs pitching. At the personal level, I find Bill to be good to deal with - always return email, feedback, etc. when asked. At the VC level, Bill is always straight and fair with entrepreneurs; might have come across as harsh sometime, but he was usually right in his assessment.

We pitched Mohanjit as part of the initial funding process, he seemed very interested and knowledgeable.

Garage started what looked like a very promising model during the bubble. Given Guy Kawasaki's personality and reach, it was possible that it would work. Today, they are a $20MM or so mini-fund looking for interesting deals that do not require much cash.
