Lack of Operational Experience, Provably Questionable Ethics

Fund: Fidelity Biosciences

Posted by Anonymous on 2011-08-03

PUBLIC:

Fidelity Biosciences is a small part of the Fidelity Empire - a family owned mega financial business. The Biosciences area is run by an ex MD with the arrogance that comes with that. Members of the team are in the same mold. They talk big but the team have little to no practical operational management experience. Most are inexperienced overcredentialed academics. Biosciences 'value add' to commercially oriented companies is negligable. Their manipulation of portfolio companies for the sake of greed at the expense of good business is unbelievable. Avoid.
