Sundeep is the Absolutely Awful

Fund: Felicis Ventures

Posted by Anonymous on 2013-12-11

PUBLIC:

While introduced to Aydin, I met with Sundeep. Out of 100+ VC conversations I've had, he was literally the absolute worst. Arrogant and disrespectful. Talked a LOT more than he listened. And in our one hour meeting came across as if he was trying to prove he's the smartest guy in the room. His behavior was especially strange because he had very little domain expertise in our area, yet rather than listening, was espousing strong opinions. In summary, the guy came across like a total clown. Really reflects poorly on Aydin personally, who seems to have a great reputation. If someone can figure out why he's on the team, I'd love to know, if only to understand how Aydin made the decision to hire him.

Aydin is Great.

PUBLIC:

Aydin did not invest in my company but I did meet with him after several people reached out to him on my behalf. He was very genuine and transparent in our interaction. He seemed to actually care about me as an entrepreneur and when he eventually passed on my company, he wrote a relatively long and thoughtful email as to why he was not investing. I was impressed he took the time, and also offered to help me with any introductions.

One of the Very Few Tranparent And Honest Investors

Fund: Felicis Ventures

PUBLIC:

I was lucky enough to meet Aydin a couple years ago and then subsequently have him invest in my company. He joined a round from a local angel group and the overall terms were fair. He has since been a powerful advocate, as well as a trusted adviser to the company. He is highly connected, very innovative and had a tremendous intuition for up and coming companies and the best way to build them.

Great Guy, Has Really Helped Out!

PUBLIC:

Aydin is the nicest guy you could hope to meet. He invested in us along with two very well known valley investors. Aydin came through for us even before we closed with an intro to SixApart which resulted in us working together.

Aydin is smart, energetic, honest, helpful - just an all round nice guy and great to know and have on board as a partner. If he invests you'll be lucky to have him on board.
