Erez is different. A very modest guy, T-shirt and a brain, you'll never think of him as the typical VC character. Tomer got things quickly and made a 2nd meeting with Erez happen very soon after we first met for lunch. Also, Tomer asked the right questions that helped to clear things regardless to the fund raise. The due diligence was serious, but once decided to move forward â€" it was quick, no playing around.
Since then, Erez convey different and constructive angle to the board, lets the CEO to do the work (damn-it, he was actually a CEO himself once so he knows what its like).
It was important to me to work with a VC partner that will not provide a remote-control-advice, I knew I'll make mistakes â€" that's the reason I started off with private investors that I can think together with. Erez and Tomer are complementary to the things I care about as people and professionals, and also to my current private investors on my board. They listen, and if we don’t agree it's also ok, you'll get the support you need knowing there are other different opinions than yours. In that respect - Erez made me change my mind to the right direction more than once, again â€" I think it's easier for a CEO to listen to a VC partner when it's mutual.
Liked the Idea but Decided to Pass

They Were Very Impressed, and We are Still Waiting...

We set a meeting with one person. Instead 2 others came, one being an analyst and the second being a personal assistant of the Partner (who failed to come without any warning). They were both VERY IMPRESSED, and promissed to return to us the following week. We are still waiting, but 3 weeks later, the PA moved to another VC, and other managerial changes happened in this VC. In any case, the attetude was really amature, and the wealth of knowledge and questions were sub-amature... but hey - they've got the money...
