Hard To Know If They Are Real, Administrator Is Courteous

Fund: Emergent Growth Fund

Posted by Anonymous on 2008-07-07

PUBLIC:

The best thing about this fund is the adminstrator, her name is Linda. She was extremely proactive and consistent from my first communication through the follow-ups. However, she is limited in what else she can tell anyone, and the current managing partner (Mike as of July 2008) wouldn't take a second of his time to communicate with me; even after spending a tremendous amount of time with his predecessor as well as traveling to meet them at an industry event. We were consistent with them for about a year and we figured that the new regime would at least appreciate the continuity, since they asked for it. Our relationship ended as soon as Linda indicated that "they are probably not interested if they have not gotten back to you." In the past Linda always knew what the others were doing with us - so this is an indication that new managers may not be as communicative with their own operational people.
