FIRM OVERVIEW: Very Small Private VC founded in 2007 based out of Healdsburg, US (US West)

FIRM DESCRIPTION: Dry Creek Ventures invests in clean energy, clean food and clean water. All three resources are becoming scarce, or suffer from widening demand/supply imbalances. Scarcity is driving rising prices and the need for new technologies, new solutions and new business models. We invest in companies that provide those solutions. DCV seeks out early-stage growth companies founded by young and energetic entrepreneurs. Typically, these companies have exhausted friends and family capital, but do not yet have the operational infrastructure, financial performance, or valuation to attract the mainstream VC funds. In addition to equity capital, we contribute extensive operational and finance experience, and the willingness to contribute significant time and effort to helping young companies develop and grow. We are looking primarily for partnerships, not simply investments.
