The Real Damage

Fund: Cedar Fund

Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24

PUBLIC:

The real concern any entrepreneur should have regarding this fund, is not the DD and negotiation process, but their actual contribution after you close them. You should do your homework, look at their previous investments and see what happened to them.

A Waste of Time and Even Worst a Risk to Others...

Fund: Cedar Fund

Posted by Anonymous on 2009-03-22

PUBLIC:

This VC is, in my opinion, the absolute worst I have had the misfortune of encountering.
This VC is small and doesn't carry a lot of weight in the "real", outside the fund, world, there is just not a lot they can help you with, besides rob you of percentage and a bit of your dignity when they call you over for the 10th meeting without reaching a real decision.

They never return your calls\emails when they are still considering, they never say NO and they just drag you on forever - some partners even ask other people to convey messages for them, lacking the common courtesy of calling the founder directly.

Ronen Yehoshua

Fund: Cedar Fund

Posted by Anonymous on 2008-04-13

PUBLIC:

Ronen has been a big part of our engagement with Cedar, and has been the lead man on many meetings. Although he does not know much about our industry (and he said so himself), he put together a good process to do the DD on us. We were particularily impressed with the way he put his heart into whatever he was involved in. We dont know yet if Cedar & us will "get married", but whatever happens, Ronen is a good man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty and get the job finished.

No Feedback

PUBLIC:

Pitched Nimrod but never got a response after the meeting, not even "we decided to pass". Emails not answered. Waste of time.

PUBLIC:

Will drag you forever will never say no. Unpredicatable can back up even after a term-sheet was agread and signed.
