Have good experience with them both during pre-closure and also as current board members. Time from initial pitch to termsheet was about 4 weeks - found them quick and responsive.
Got help in attracting senior management talent, quite prompt in doing needed introductions, good network.
Good guys, humble, nice to work with.

Walked out of a signed term sheet post due diligence and legal agreement finalization. These guys dont believe at all in sanctity of signed termsheets, so dont share too much information with them and if they give you a signed termsheet, make sure you get money in the bank. Also, who knows who gets to see data from your diligence ?

They make a formal offer (Terms Sheet) simultaneously to two competing companies in the same sector. After learning a lot about each one. And they end up investing in one- I later found that they have not respected the signed NDAs.
Also, strangely, they invest in multiple companies in the same sector, in the same geography! Very strange in my opinion...

All their investments in tech space are into companies that are already successes.. Shaadi.com, IndiaTimes.com Etc.
All their early stage investments have been into companies that are duds. Guruji.com, MingleBox.com Etc. This shows they're unable to pick winners & are just happy picking smaller stakes at late stages.
This is fine for the limited partners, but shows to entrepreneurs that they're not very bright upstairs.

While the initial reaction to my startup was very positive, the follow-up just withered up mysteriously...
