Roger is a great guy, and John is a rockstar in my opinion. For local money in the midwest, you cannot do any better. They added a guy named Jim who is really pretty solid as well. They know what they know and stick to it and do it well. Plu, when the time is right, they can help attract west coast money.

Smaller midwestern VC based in Minnesota. Prefer to share deals with other VCs. Seemed to be mostly healthcare-focused with limited expansion in other areas.

Pitch went well, though we are probably too early and too "techy" for them. As a point of reference, one partner hadn't heard of Foursquare (ca. 2012).
