Carol Sands spoke at a workshop for my entrepreneurship class at Stanford. Somebody mentioned Quora and she said that she had never heard of it. Later on when a student gave her an elevator pitch, he used the word "hyperlocal", and she said that she had never heard that word before.

It think these anecdotes speak for themselves.
