This was a few years ago and was for my previous company. In retrospect, it was one of the funniest things that happened to us though it really did not feel funny at that time. We pitched to this one senior associate who I do not think is with the firm anymore and he actually just nodded off on us. Since he was the only one in the meeting from the fund, we really did not know what to do - were we to pick up our things and just leave? Were we to nudge him and wake him up? Was quite a confidence buster. It all worked out well for us in the end in terms of a good exit for the company so the idea probably was not that bad but this was not cool. The least I believe someone who calls you in should do is to stay awake !!!
