CRV has been a great investor/partner for our company through three rounds (A, B and C). Izhar is the partner on our board and is a very thoughtful and analytical director who adds great value as a strategic thinker. Izhar also respects the boundary between board/strategy work and operations/execution and is clear on where he can add value. We’ve also been able to leverage the broader CRV team to recruit talent and get key customer introductions—particularly Jon Auerbach in Waltham and George Zachary and Bill Tai in Menlo Park who have been key in terms of helping us with intros to Silicon Valley companies. At fund-raising time they are savvy negotiators on behalf of their LPs, so it’s good to be prepared when negotiating the term sheet. The team’s integrity is beyond reproach, and I always value their timely and candid feedback—even when it’s not what I want to hear. CRV would be my first stop for any fundraising.
