Fund: Aberdare Ventures

Aberdare is an investor in my current company, and they have been refreshingly calm in an otherwise chaotic investor group.

Paul K. is our board member, so he's the partner that I interact with the most, but it seems like the whole team takes his lead. He's a very experienced and rational investor who believes that the best way to get good returns for his limited partners is to invest in good management teams, not to try to do the management himself.

Paul works by the "no ass****" rule, which means that he doesn't hire them and he doesn't invest in them. I don't know if this improves his returns or not, but it sure makes them a pleasure to work with.
