Foundation Capital led my company’s Series B round three years ago and have been extraordinarily professional, smart and supportive business partners ever since.
- They move quickly and with fair terms. From initial pitch to a closed deal was less than 2 months. They asked great questions, moved fast, were straightforward and proposed very fair terms. In fact, they actually removed the participating preference that was a part of our Series A terms.
- They work for you. Paul Holland is on our board and he will do just about anything for the company. He and his partners set up many VC meetings for us, introduce us to virtually anyone we need, all the partners will meet with you if they think they can help in any way and they roll up their sleeves when needed. We have an operations facility in Nevada and Paul flew out to visit and meet the folks, bought everyone beer and had great ideas and questions. He had no agendaâ€"just wanted to meet everyone and understand our business more.
- Great depth and they treat entrepreneurs with respect. I have worked with many VCs in my day and I would rank Foundation as the best partnership, top to bottom. Each partner is smart, experienced, hard-working and treats their teams with respect. Foundation has been a great partner in good times and bad , and they continue to be smart and supportive even in the more stressful times. You really feel that they are with you for the ride.
- Paul Holland is amazing. Paul is responsive 24/7, supportive, extremely bright and experienced, and adds value in many ways (insight, connections, etc.) Anyone who gets Paul involved in their company is smart (and lucky)
