TheFunded.com just broke 9,000 Members moments ago. Over 95% of the Members continue to be CEOs, with less than 5% being founders in other roles, lawyers, consultants, and limited partners. An increasing number of venture capitalists are leaving the VC industry and joining start-ups. Rather than deleting the profile of a former venture capitalist or investor, TheFunded archives the profile in a Transitional Zone.

In celebration of this milestone, TheFunded has added an easy way for early stage companies to look up Angel investors. There is now a Filter option to show only self-declared Angels in the left hand navigation, which can be further tuned by selecting a Geography. Early stage companies raising smaller amounts of capital can now see all relevant angel groups and their ratings.
