Tech Investor, but Consumer Friendly

Fund: Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures

Initially, we've not been sure about whether to invest the time to pitch to Doughty Hanson, since our tech company is also quite consumer driven. But since we had a good intro to Soeren Hein, we gave it a try. Our discussions then were led by Stefan Tirtey. It turned out, that Stefan while tech savvy, is also willing to dig deep into consumer topics. His feedback was always straight forward and very helpful. Finally, the deal didn't work with Doughty, but the process was efficient and fair, and provided us valuable feedback. We consider Doughty Hanson to be among the top-5 tech vcs in Europe.
