TheFunded.com has just broken 10,000 Member contributed reviews and articles on fundraising. Congratulations! Some updates from the previous week are below:
A New Exchange Fund: TheFunded.com is announcing a partnership with EB Exchange Funds ("EBX") to help entrepreneurs make more money and diversify the risk of being heavily involved in only one company. An exchange fund allows founders from multiple companies contribute a portion of their founding equity to a shared liquidity pool. When one company in this pool goes public, sells, or liquidates in some manner, all of the founders in the pool generate financial returns. Members, read the Private section of this post for more details about the opportunity. There is also an informational event to learn more on Wednesday, April 16th, in Palo Alto, California.
A Week of News: The week kicked off with the announcement of TheUnFunded.com, which turned out to be an April Fool's joke by Josh Kopelman of First Round Capital. Later in the week, there was a series of blog posts and articles about a presentation by the Founding Member in Amsterdam at TheNextWeb.com.
Terms Sheets: A half dozen term sheets were added this week, all of which have a one time or less liquidation preference. In addition, there are another half dozen incomplete term sheets, and, if you are responsible for one, please login, go to terms, click on the sheet, and finish adding incomplete terms. Also, Members, if you have received a term sheet in the last few weeks, please add it to the database today.
Discussions: This past week has been filled with the regular mix of Member-only discussions, including "Lead And Follow In The Syndicate," "A Round Fees, Warrants & Board Positions," and "What To Call My Round" Series A Or Series B"" A few topics could use more input from Members, so please login and add Feedback to:
