An Entrepreneur's Fund

I have run two Zone portfolio companies: one that failed in the bubble because we did a bad bridge loan to our Series C round (lesson learned: NEVER do bridge loans in an early stage company, even if you have a signed term sheet), and one that is still going. I have to say Frank and Darius were fantastic through the whole process. They were extremely supportive in the worst of times - both during the bursting of the bubble, and post Sept. 11th when we were raising a round (it closed in October 2001). It might be tough to get funded by them, but once you are a portfolio company, they give you all the support you need. The true test of your investors comes when things don't go well (which is inevitable at some point in a start-up's life).
