Why do they exist" To torture entrepreneurs." Vandervelden is the most arrogant, worthless VC I've run across. Met with them several times, including a trip to Boston and still didn't have the courtesy to give us any feedback. Luckily, we raised $ from a top notch VC and didn't need them. But I feel sorry for the ones that do take $ from them.
