Fund: Outlook Ventures

I've known the firm for 6+ years having both raised money from them at one start-up and then later joined one of their funded start-ups.

I've found the team to be extremely ethical, committed and resourceful. Our primary contact has been Carl and he's always been available to tackle issues with us, hear our perspectives and share his experience. Carl's been great at understanding the nuances of our business, surfacing the key issues (some of which, being too close to it, we might have missed) and coming up with options/solutions. Like most start-ups, we've hit a few rough patches along the road and he's always been there to help us address the problems and brought in extra resources where we needed it. When it came time for follow-on funding he helped us strategically position our business, communicate our story and get us in front of the right new investors so we were able to close funding pretty efficiently. In sum, it's been a successful and enjoyable partnership.
