Fund: Generation Partners

The team at Generation Partners is very supportive of companies that they back. They think and act with long term strategy in mind, and invest based on a thesis that a company fits into rather than in companies that they build a thesis around. This means that they do their homework and have a good feel for the challenges and opportunities that a market presents when the put their money to work. This can make them slow to act, but I think that their deliberate approach has been good for their fund. They are very candid with their feedback, but also very fair. Finally, they are excellent negotiators to have on your side when you are raising more money, or engaging in M&A activities.
