When David Limp says to me "We like to follow Sequioa's model of investing in proven entrepreneurs and/or first-generation Americans", how do you respond? It was indicative of the hair-brained questions we were asked. And it is always troubling to present to a firm twice but have your emails go unreturned - not a "yes", "no", "maybe", or even "you're an idiot". To the entrepreneur off the street they are very unprofessional but perhaps others have had better experiences.
